The hotel room was spacious, modern, and clean, but the noise from the hallway and pool was a bit distracting. It was convenient to have 2 queen size beds, but being close to the elevator could be a downside.

The service was a bit 'off' as some staff members were unhelpful, but others were extremely helpful. I requested a bottle of water on night two and they were accommodating. Dry cleaning, laundry, and the welcome drink added to the experience.

The location was pretty perfect for my family as it didn't feel crowded and was ideal for our needs. It was very convenient to San Diego County locations and comfortable. The proximity to the VA clinic and the soccer field was a plus, but the inability to make last-minute changes without a penalty was a slight drawback.

Unfortunately, dining was not included, not even a continental breakfast. The hours were limited from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The quality of the dining experience did not match the price paid and was deceiving according to the booking website.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were well appointed with 2 queen size beds and very nicely furnished, providing a safe and restful stay. However, the lack of hot water was a disappointment, especially as it wasn't communicated upfront by the front desk.
